Kosher is the greatest rock & roll band of all time! This band is made of 100% Jews! Nazi's beware!
Hey kids, if you're ever feeling like you're not cool because you're Jewish,
just remember, the guys in Kosher are Jewish, and they sure are cool!
Kosher is:
Stas - Vocals
Red - Drums
Jon - Bass
Steve - Guitar
Alicia - Violin, Accordion
Bio:
Kosher is the brainchild of Sta, a
Baltimore punk. One day, while sitting in a Taco Bell in Reisterstown, MD,
he told his idea to his brother Red, and their friends Jon and
Steve. They wrote Oye! at the brother's house and knew right away
that they were on to something. Stas recruited Alicia to play and Kosher
was complete. Unfortunately, Stas left for Cambridge a few weeks later to
go to school. Fortunately, he returned in the spring of '94 and Kosher reformed.
During this time they wrote the rest of their song list and performed once
at The Dirty Basement, a local Baltimore club. This legendary performance
was to be the bands debut and swan song. Stan went back to Cambridge and
No one is sure what happened to Alicia. The 3 remaining members formed the
band Meshugenah.
The legend of Kosher lives on and because of the huge amounts of mail the
band has received, they have decided to release an E.P. containing all the
songs in their cattle-log.
News:
Kosher is finally, after 3 1/2 years reforming to release an E.P. The E.P. is being recorded at House of Wheat Studios. Look for it soon on Traded for Wheat Records.
Songs:
The Eternal Jew
Oye!
Farfel
